Must Be Sure HIPPA Regulations are Met

Not only are IT technologists being faced with the challenge of creating a platform in which there will be enough pacs data storage capacity but there is also the task of being sure that a comprehensive system will not compromise any of the HIPPA laws and regulations in terms of privacy. This is why these systems are being fined tuned to be sure that there is a 0% chance of hackers getting into the system. Once this technology is completely fine tuned then developers anticipate that more and more doctors and hospitals will switch to a fully integrated web based method of sharing medical information and imaging.

The truth of the matter is that it is already quite safe but there are so many skeptics that will not trust technology. For this reason it is important that anyone thinking of switching to an electronic method of medical records and imaging sharing system do their research to see what the pros and cons are of such a platform. So far the news seems to be good and there do not appear to be many downfalls at all. The benefits seem to outweigh any risks by far. In the end patients will have the right to choose in which way their information is shared.
